Is it possible to get progressively worse as time passes?

Posted in Group:

I have a frontal lobe brain injury. I received it almost nine years ago now. According to the docs after 3 years that is all the improvement I will ever see. I've noticed in recent years my brain fog is pretty intense most days. I've also noticed I have a harder time the older I've gotten(I'm 29 now)to carry on typical conversations or make connections with other adults on a deep level. I realize this may have nothing to do with my brain injury nor my fibromyalgia but part of me wonders if it's possible that things have actually become worse rather than fully healed in terms of my TBI? Opinions? Thoughts? I'm open to all communications on this thank you in advance. :)

Our body has the ability to heal itself, therefore this is a very delicate situation and sometimes, certain days, takes more energy out of you, regarding the conversation, that the other days. Do not pressure yourself and do not worry. Have faith and God bless you.
